I see, He who has the ball last, WINS!!

I think that could very well be the deal.

I agree, I dont see a D stepping up in this one.

Re: Motor City Bowl Predictions

since we never do well against a mobile qb i'm a bit worried about this game. sure we have a legit shot but you never know which FAU team is going to show up. i give us a 30% chance of winning.

I usually shy away from predictions. But on Dec. 26, we'll be watching from New York (visiting our son) when the Owls win, 49-27.

We play well in a dome.......31-14 Owls

37-35 FAU Warley is good for one missed XP and a FG
I think you should revise that prediction, considering our kicker is not going  :-\

;)

Posted this earlier in the ineligible player thread.

New Kicker from Auburn: Ross Gornall

The kid can booth the ball from 50+ with ease.  How he does under game time pressure is yet to be determined, but I think this kid will do fine.  He just launches his kicks, Warley's kick tend to be more of line drives and where more susceptible to being blocked.

Warley was a decent kicker don;t get me wrong, some of his misses where not all his fault, bad snaps, holds, but this new kid I am very impress with and will have an impact on how the game is called - we may settle for points instead of risking going for it as many times on 4th & shorts.

I am hoping the defense comes out ready to play & with something to prove.

Re: Motor City Bowl Predictions

The good news id that his first real game experience will come inside a dome so no weather issue to deal with.  The bad news is it's a bowl game.  I was told he is kicking very well, strong leg but the consistency is the unknown.

Re: Motor City Bowl Predictions

Have you ever taken in consideration that Peterson sometimes has messed up when holding the ball. What about the snaps?
You can't blame Leroy for all the missed field goals. He is decent in my opinion.
I know some of you hate him and I bet most of you don't know how to kick a freaking ball.
The guy from Auburn seems solid, but there's always room from errors. Go and ask Barefoot from Southern Miss who almost missed the field goal or ask the kid from Troy who got his kick blocked.
Prediction: I am gonna guess, UCM looks better than we are, but you never know in football.

FAU 27 / UCM 24
