To all you MTSU fans…"If's and but's were candy and nuts, OH what a merry christmas it would be". Bottom line we whipped your asses last week and proved we are much better team. If you think you looked better against Louisville, it is probably because Louisville sucked it up last night. You guys are still then same horrible team you have always been. Good luck in at trying to salvage your season :)

The reason why we looked good against Louisville is because we ran a spread offense for 4 quarters against the Cardinals instead of a power run offense like we did in the first three quarters against FAU. When Middle Tennessee moved to a spread offense in the fourth quarter against FAU, the Blue Raiders were more productive outscoring the Owls 14-3. FAU was the better team though for that day. Much better? Hardly. FAU will lose many, many games this year starting today.

And what the heck kind of comment is that about us "salvaging" our season? The season is just beginning. I promise you that FAU will lose a Sun Belt Conference game. In fact, I bet money that FAU will lose more than one Sun Belt Conference game. If you think your team played lights out against a good MT team last Saturday than this season is going to be hard lesson for your fans to learn. FAU didn't plays lights out, and MT didn't play anywhere close to their potential. FAU did not look unbeatable against MT. You guys are awful cocky. Me thinks Oklahoma State will bring you back down to reality with a 20+ point victory.

Hey raider…I think you have overstayed your welcome here. Why don't you go back to the 0-2 board and tell each other how great your winless team is, we don't care-you lost-WE WON.

You can try to rewrite history all you want but I was at the game and watched an ass-whipping in person. BTW…that was mostly 2nd string defense when you drove down for your ONLY offensive touchdown.

BYE BYE ;D ;D

2nd string defense? Oh boy. You really don't know. Do you? I can't wait until about midseason. You guys are in for one REALLY rude awakening. Just be glad Middle Tennessee didn't show up last Saturday against FAU.

Well now am am confused…Did you guys get beat by a much better team or does your coach just suck, because he was unable to motivate his players on one of the most important games of the season.

Personally, I think it is a combination of both. Once again, We Win and you lose lose lose….Now quit making excuses and get to your appointment at the beauty shop… Be Yotch!!!

Motivation was not a factor. We care more about conference games than any other games. I think it was a combination of two things.

1) We changed up our offensive game plan vs. Louisville. We went to more of a spread.

2) I think FAU's defense is better than Louisville's. You kicked our O-line all over the field. I do think if we would have went to the spread against FAU it would have helped, but the bottom line is we didn't.

I was probably more shocked in the Louisville game than most people. I thought we looked great against Louisville, but FAU completely dominated us. I never would have guessed we would recover from the FAU game. You guys just made us look that bad.

I agree gomtblue you guys probably would have gave us an entirely different game if you ran the spread the entire game. You never know though. You know how college football is especially this year. You never know which face your team is going to show each week.
