USA got left off by mistake. They started a huge protest about it and thier fans and Administration wrote numerous letters to EA about being left off.

The Result?

Next year USA is getting "BIG BOY" treatment from EA in this game. They are recording thier custom chants at a game, they will have thier mascot in game etc.  This is treatment that UF and OSU get.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

The big down side to the game is the conference realignment and new teams issue. You can create the new teams coming into the belt for the 2013 season, the problem is you have to swap out an existing FBS team (WHICH SUCKS!!!) and in moving teams, you can move teams freely from conference to conference, BUT you can not have less than 4 teams in a conference, as of right now WAC will only have Idaho and NMS, and you can not just move them to independents and delete the WAC. So basically, if you are playing in dynasty mode, once you get to the 2013 season it is all screwed up and not close to the conference landscape it will be… and that really sucks!!!

Guess that's what makes you buy it next year!
