Looking more and "Morris" like we will have, for the first time in the history of the program (not long), a "weighty" tandem in the backfield - 225 plus for both backs…and "skills to boot…

The "Scat Back" has been a major player up until now in our offense, but when Blanchard went down this Spring, it changed things dramatically for us…

HS will keep with the same overall pro style offense regardless; but it will be interesting to see the wrinkles they put in…could see more running than last year, but still early to truly tell

Good to know.. One thing even with any coach you really need to cater to the strengths of an offense… can't put that square peg into a round hole…

I hate to be the bearer of good news for my opponent, but Niles Paul, thought by the mass public to be our #2 receiver this year, just got a DUI, MIP and ticket for driving with a suspended license last night.

Not good. Sorry to hear about that one.

We know what it is like to lose key receivers (Starting TE and top receiver Anthony Crissinger-Hill kicked off the team a few years back for drug posession and starting TE and top receiver Jason Harmon out last year due to injury). Anytime you lose a key playmaker on offense it has an impact.

suspension for rest of spring, should be good by seasons opener, unfortantly he will never be as good as the hype he had coming in.  but that's what happens when you go to school in omaha and happen to be ahman greens nephew.

his biggest knock is he has the dropsies.  on the plus side that just means more snaps to chris brooks and will henry(who has by reports being coming on strong lately).  unfortantly for niles he got screwed by the previous staff out of a redshirt that he could have desperately uses(instead of being a junior he would have been a rs soph.

ehh, bad news yesterday out of practice, kody spano a rs freshman qb is out of the spring and more then likely done for the year(acl injury) that takes nebraska down to a juco transfer, a early entry and a converted linebacker at qb.
