Re: Nebraska Watch Parties

Is Dallas the only city where a watch party has been established for the Nebraska game? How about the Orlando/Altamonte Springs area?
Based on where large clusters of alumni live, and where alumni have volunteered and said "Yes! I'll help host a watch party," we've established several watch parties for the Sept. 19 game - Orlando being one of them.
Yes, Dallas is the only FAUNAA watch party for the Nebraska game. Sept. 5 is Labor Day and that's a high travel time for many people, so we tried to stay away from that somewhat.
Orlando will be Sept. 19, along with some other cities.
An e-mail will go out late next week or early the week after to alumni in the surrounding areas of the cities hosting watch parties about the Sept. 19 party. But just like everyone else, and the schools too, we are waiting for a formal announcement of which PPV will cover the game.
Now, that's not to say you couldn't have an informal gathering at a restaurant to watch the game.
Speaking of watch parties… the alumni and volunteers in Tampa who use to host these parties in the past are going to the SC game. So if anyone on the board lives in Tampa and would be interested in a watch party, please let me know. rick.smith17@yahoo.com
