I'm sure it is a rumor at this point, but it makes a lot of sense.  Who wouldn't want to go to a Bowl game in Boca Raton in December?  I would expect this to happen at some point.  That's extra revenue that we can use.

I think FAU should go with a red turf on the field….if they go with a turf and not natural grass………be different, thats what helped put boise on the map!

I would rather be known for the team than the turf.  Every time I see highlights from that Boise stadium, I want to get up and adjust the TV.  ;)

Intersting rumor and if it is true that would be great, BUT we need a stadium first and I just don't see ANY Bowl committee commit to a location if a stadium doesn't even exist.  NOW, once the thing gets under way and the TALK started about the possibility of having a bowl in Boca that is different then making a statement of commitment.  So I can see that all this started with small talk being made about possibilities…

Bytor, you're right, of course, about not getting too far ahead. But it is fun to speculate. One thing about turf color, though: I think I recall reading that after the Boise State blue turf, the NCAA put in a restriction calling for only green turf in the future.
