Speaking of TV, I heard an interesting point about the Big12 expansion, which we hope might include us going to the AAC. 

They were basically saying that a "following" (ie Fan Base) will drive the selections moving forward, NOT the media market as we have so hoped. Mainly because TV as we know it will be dead in some years down the road and content on demand will be the name of the game. 

We still have the recruiting hotbed argument to hold on to, but if this is the way the conference directors are thinking it could make our quest upwards difficult.
