I think symmetrical owl head features on the helmet would look great. Like Michigans helmets but as an owl.

It's an artist rendition he even said the colors are a bit off.  I think it will be fine

I could dig that if it had the red-white-blue-white-red stripe on it, and if the logo was a bit higher.
You should turn this in to the athletics dept Rick, seriously! I also think a navy original rendering would look best with the winged FAU script logo.

As a graphic designer, I'm not going to get hired anytime soon (I've tried.)

The helmet will have glitter, from what I've been told.

The blue on the helmet that I had described to me (a prototype that might never see the light of day), will be lighter than the logo, but by no means baby blue. Think something like this (

I don't know if the Owl logo will have the oval around it. I've gotten mixed messages on that. I don't care for the oval personally — so I opted against it as a tiebreaker.

I also don't know if there are outlines on the numbers, for legibility. I didn't ask. I will now.

I have no inside info, but as an official approved licensed vendor, I will say, there is no official full winged logo (past or present) in existence that does not have an oval around it.  That doesn't mean they won't create one…just saying…

That being said…I believe the logo in the middle of the basketball court may be a full winged logo without an oval around it.  So I guess, the logo in the middle of the basketball court is not an official logo…so who knows?

I like the white so much better, but when you say glitter… WTF!!!
