Question, with all this new merchandize, are any of them associated with NIKE? From what I am seeing out there of the new stuff I fail to see any of the newer Nike gear appearal - which I have bought, yet have fail to locate any on the official web-site or any where else for that matter.

Regardless, it good to see our stuff out an about.

Good question Bytor? My guess is that they're from smaller/independent vendors. Nike will have to start their team wear production before the season starts. Or will they sub contract it out to the indy vendors?

I understand that the Nike gear is expensive, you pay for the name, and the school may not make as much from them, so an independent vendor is likely.

Getting the new logos and the rights to them is the most important part of all this process, it will give us more flexibility on merchandizing.

I just wish that all this could have been done four or five years ago.

As long as the new stuff is out there now… champs has had a really old and boring looking shirts for the past few years, and I actually think they've had the same 20 shirts for those years. At least now, there is merchandise out there for people to see.

I was in Champs yesterday... They had three shirts and I must say I was a bit dissapointed... There was only one shirt that I could say was alright... the other one was a faded lookeing shirt and the other one had red bloches all over it kinda like someone used it to wipe up blood.... The logo in the store window to advertise the merchandise was great, I wish the shirts used that logo...

Has anyone found a source for 3X5 banners with the new logo? I just checked via phone with Flagcraft (on North Dixie Highway in Boca) to see whether they had any of the new designed. Nope. They still have some of the old designs (attack owl with red, gold, blue). The guy there said no one from FAU has called and asked that new flags be made. I don't know whether that means FAU is looking for a different vendor, or whether no one has gotten around to it yet. The old design looks great. I still fly one of those here in Colorado Springs from time to time. No one has a clue about what it is. I like that. (Maybe I should get a spoof flag for the University of Colorado – one that shows booze bottles, hookers and dollar signs against a mountain backdrop.)

I haven't seen any FAU car flags either (the ones that you put in a car window). Any ideas?
