I'm OK with 38 years of them being under .500 as a program lol
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

"If F.I.U. averaged an 8-5 record every season (I believe that’s being more than generous), it would take the program 13 seasons to move its career mark above .500. If F.I.U. averaged a 7-6 finish, it would take them 38 years to reach .500."

Wow that is a painfull stat for FIU. I am still waiting for them to do something on the field before I am convinced that they are improving as much as everyone says.

Follow the K-State program building guide of playing nobody and padding the win total to help with national recognition. ;D

I, for one, love having a competitive Shula Bowl.

I dont think FIU fans care (or should care) if they are under .500 forever. Its the season record that matters and 2 bad seasons won't stop them from being very very competitive in the Sun Belt.

Yes, it's better to have a competitive Shula Bowl.
I was near the FIU campus and I drove by to see the stadium. It is looking very nice IMO.
I wish FAU could have something like that. I also noticed they painted the baseball stadium.
they also built a pretty nice art gallery.
They are doing a very good marketing campaign tying all their colors, logos and letters into one unified mark.
good for them.
Too bad that they are our bit##$es in football.

Considering we have 7 teams on the list already in the bottom 30, there is no reason we can not have a 8-4 season or better. And between the 3 hardest teams we play, USC, Nebraska, & Troy, if we take 1 of those 3, we should be pretty good off.

Even better if we take 1 against a BCS team like nebraska or USC.
Troy is tough!
FIU seems not easy, I don't know why.
8-4 seems doable!
