A few of us have known this for days.

Kinda angry the stroy broke this way as FAU was trying to keep it quiet for many reasons.

Can understand why FAU is trying to keep it under wraps. Marshall and other teams could replan their offensive now that he is out. Sad he got ejected for a targeting call in his last game as an FAU player it seems.

Revolution- n. A large amount of change in a short amount of time.   FAU- n. The place where tomorrow begins.

What was more sad - the CALL he got ejected on!

Any more details on the injury? Unfortunately the acl will end his days playing with owls but if he was “lucky” enough to keep his mcl and meniscus intact then he should have a very manageable recovery. I’d like to pull something positive out of this, because I definitely feel for the young man.

He could go for a medical red shirt and play here again next year to improve his NFL chances. IFAU will file for that If he wants to return. Best move to me IMHO!

FAU will do what he wants done…it's all up to him.

But if you were him, would you want to come back and risk getting another injury?

He's had a surgery after every season so far…

No it’s not playing more doesn’t increase chances of anything.
He has given all he can to this program.
Coming back and putting more wear on the body won’t help a thing. Also it’s a 9-12 month rehab so let’s say 9 and he comes back for next season and is a half step slow becuase many say it takes another year to be back to full speed and trusting the knee. Scouts will only lose interest more.

If I am Motor I am looking at Azeez debating if I want to play this weekend let alone next year.

Guys need to protect their future.

He’s made it through tougher  situations than this before. Honestly a torn ACL isn’t that bad nowadays. Todd Gurley was ROY coming off an ACL. Adrian Peterson put together an MVP season 8 months post injury. Doctors and therapist have the ACL rehab pretty well figured out these days. I guarantee you that he has already started prehabing.
