Next owl to be drafted

I think he dropped the Frye, it's just Djoun Smith now AFAIK

Re: Next owl to be drafted

Cory Henry has a chance if he can have a productive season. I like Dukes chances in a few years along with Andre Kirk. Next year I think it will be Reaser. He's a combine kid who will test off the charts. 4.3 forty easliy (the fastest player on the team), as well as great size for a CB (6'  190lbs.)

Re: Next owl to be drafted

Dukes, Randell (if he rebounds next year), Smith, Reaser and Nexon all have a chance to be drafted, IMO. I'm interested to see how the young LBs develop as well. I don't think much of Cory's draft stock, but it's possible.

Hinds won't get drafted because he doesn't have the combine numbers. That said, he'll get a chance, and that's all anyone needs.

I say that because I think a team would take a risk on him with a late round pick.

Agreed. Not to mention, daddy probably has a lot of contacts to NFL scouts. Make no mistake about it, Duron is one hell of an athlete and has the talent to be a big time player but I wonder if he will technically count as an FAU alum

He's not technically an alum of anywhere.

I'm imagine that he'd have to be introduced as an Ohio State alum, if anything.

I could see a few of the o-line guys getting a look for a practice squad...there is some raw talent there....

Doubtful. I would say St Thomas Aguinas.

Willie Dukes is NFL material, no question.  That kid had a good QB to throw to him he would go for 1,500 yards.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Re: Next owl to be drafted

I think when you look at next season's seniors you have to think guys like Randell Johnson and Adarius Glanton have a chance. Daniel McKinney also provides a unique combination of size and speed, while Jonathon Wallace could gain some interest if he runs for 1,000 + yards.

Wow, can't believe I forgot about Glanton, the guy is a beast, another good season and he's at the top of my draft board next Feb for FAU.
