Now, for reality...

Now, for reality...

All this hype and talk is fine…but the one thing that can quickly over shadow all of this is INJURIES.

And we have some to be concerned about:

Story from Marcus

Now, it is appearant im a  glass half full guy pretty much all of the time…

But things like "concusion" and "MRI" are NOT good less than two weeks before our journey to HornVille…

Here's to a speedy recovery for these guys…we need them if we are to have a shot at the "2009 version of Appalachian State vs. Michigan"!

Hmmm, we should keep an eye on this although we do have 15 days to sit them out and lightly train with them to get healthy… MRI is usually a precautionary measure and does not always mean something serious… let's hope they are ALL ready in time… I hope the team has not gotten complacent since New Orleans!!!

Re: Now, for reality...

We are going to need everybody for this game.

The other thing that comes into question is does FAU play guys who are a little banged up or sit them as a precautionary measure to make sure that they are healthy down the line.

I hope everybody is healthy and on the field so that both teams bring the best of what they have to offer to this game so that there won't be any excuses from either side once the game is over.

GO OWLS!!!

Man, we NEED those LB's for that game.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Re: Now, for reality...

I really hope those guys get fixed up in time.  We need everyone to be at 150% for the opener, and any weakness we show, especially on the line, will be exploited big time.
