Hey..I'm all about the Owl love…I hope to get a "real" host during off season so I am not limited on media and can organize the Owlgate by game. I figure the more people hear about Owlcoholics and the Message board, the more contributors I'll have. We have to do anything we can to keep the momentum going for our team! It's funny…I received an email from a Temple Owl fan who found the site doing a search for Owls fans and couldn't believe how organized our fan base was in such a short period of time. He didn't even know we existed. ;D Cheers

What's the 11th game in 2005? If the Owls play seven Sun Belt games, open at Kansas, host Oklahoma State and play at Cincinnati, that totals 10. I had thought FAMU was a home-and-home. But the official FAMU site lists 11 games (the max, I think) for 2005, and FAU is not on it. (South Florida is, though.)

If my understanding is correct (and it might not be), here is what we know or believe to be true:

9/17 Sat @ Cincinnati (Cincinnati, Ohio)

10/8 Sat vs. *Louisiana-Lafayette (Lockhart)
10/22 Sat @ *Arkansas State (Jonesboro, Ark.)
10/29 Sat vs. *Middle Tennessee State (Lockhart)

That would leave open dates of 10/1 and 10/15. Presumably, one of those would be for an 11th game and the other would remain a bye week. So the question becomes: Which schools are available on one date or the other? (Of course dates for other games could change….)

I know that Louisville is trying hard to get us in on their schedule - it seems that they want the match-up and do a big pre-game honoring Coach Schenllenberger .
