I agree, but WKU just became a full SBC member. We cannot compare this to a logo that was changed more than 4 years ago and on top of it, SI has been informed about this numerous times. It is just lack of professionalism and it is not about FAU winning games or not. It is SI's fault, no doubt about it. I am also going to blame the marketing dept at FAU for not keeping up with this issues. I am sorry if a offend somebody here, but I will always point my finger to the marketing dept for not enforcing such an expensive branding initiative to the students and the media around the nation. How come one of our local news channel still have and uses our old logo?. Last year when we beat FIU in the shula bowl; they had FIU's logo updated. This logo was redesigned last year and FAU's logo was redesigned 4 years ago? give me a break!

Part of the problem, for some of these site unless you're in a BCS conference, won't give much of a hoot for the little guys - it's not about us having to earn respect to get our logo right, more about them showing respect to the university in general.

Alex might be on to something, then again, if they have been told countless times, then its falls back on them to make the changes.  Could be they are waiting for the school to actually to provide the correct info, don't know.

I have talked with FAU about this a while ago. FAU has provided them with the logo. They have repeatedly asked them to update the logo. They have not. In no way is this FAU's fault.

In my opinion, the only recourse that may be doable is a lawsuit. But what would they sue for? Copyright infringement because they "defacing" the FAU name? I don't know… I'm not an attorney.

It looks like they changed it to me.  The team page logo is correct.  When you go to our opponents team pages our logo appears to be changed.  The only place I saw an old logo was on the scoreboard which is last year's scores so that will probably change once we have a score to post this year.
