What I don't understand is they show other football games on WTCN with much better productions, but everytime FAU football is on it's a total disaster.

They did have some kind of technical dificulties to start the second half, but the hole production is second rate.

Part of me is upset, yet the game was on TV and they do give us time every monday with coach on "the Locker Room".

FAU is trying to buy into WXEL - could be interesting to see what happens with those plans.

The worst part is that people like me with DirecTV and other services don't even get WTCN. I thought we were supposed to get all the "local" channels. WTCN is actually out of Stuart, so …

And CSS is a joke - only available to Comcast subscribers. That's so worthless in this land of Adelphia.

Yea.. during the game we noticed that the camera men had the cameras pointed down with there hands in there pockets... right then my dad called and told me that WTCN lost the game coverage... ADT forked over the money to have these games telivised, they should get there money back!!!! Earlier in the week I got an email back from WTCN... (I had sent it right after the droped the replay of the hawaii game) better late than never? gees... anyway they appoligized and to give me a heads up that this weeks game will be starting at 3 not 4.... once again they bothced that up... They told me that schnellenberger had told them that... Still they shouldnt be going around giving inaccurate info... they have to check the validity of it before they go ahead and broadcast it.... WE should all email them.. maybe even include a hyper link to this thread,......

WTCN has nothing to do with the actual coverage of the game. All they do is pick up the ESPN Gameplan feed. (If it really bothers you, pay the $24.95 and get the game PPV)

Now missing the second-half kickoff and the color distortion in the fourth quarter was all their fault. Someone fell asleep at the button on that one.

I'm not trying to make excuses, but there just seems to be a lot of complaining going on. Honestly, we should be happy that the games are even on TV at all. I mean come on, does anyone outside of South Florida and Tallahassee really want to watch FAU-FAMU?

The TV coverage, and media coverage overall, will improve as the school gains more exposure, which like it or not depends on small local stations like WTCN.

Now if we're lucky, FSN will do some game next year and maybe we'll even get a couple ESPN2 games with the big-name opponents that are starting to populate our future schedules.

At least we are complaining about the quality of the broadcast, and not that there isn't a broadcast. Just like the play on the field, the exposure of the program has improved dramatically. Hopefully next year we will have a set TV contract of better quality.

At least we have something to build on - being on TV is huge for recruiting. My only problem with the quality of the broadcast is the reflection it may have on the program. Any form of contact with any news or TV coverage is good - it let's them know that they are FAU fans out there that care!!
