Re: Opponent to Open the Stadium

That's generally a good site, but it is not always up to date. For example, it shows that Florida State and Air Force have a home-and-home for 2011 and 2012. However, that was dropped last March:

Air Force, FSU call off football series

Air Force and Florida State have canceled their home-and-home football series for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

According to academy sports information director Troy Garnhart, Air Force wanted to keep the 2012 game at Florida State but replace the 2011 home game – which was to be the Falcons’ opener Sept. 3.

Though Air Force has in recent years often tried to open against an FCS team (FSU excluded, of course), a strong current report has it looking to resume a four-year home-and-home vs. Notre Dame.  I do not know whether Florida State has plugged the gaps in its 2011 and 2010 schedules (to replace the Air Force games).

How about UCF?

I'm telling you guys from personal experience… on the list of schools you don't want anywhere near your new stadium or campus…. UCiF and Rutgals are 1a and 1b… Their teams play dirty and their fans are just plain nasty.

Preferrably a team that travels well and has fans that wear Blue  ;D  Especially if they are going to be using it for marketing purposes in the future.
