Compare that to the money spent going to the game it is a bargain. Especially if you get a few friends together to watch the game and split the cost.

60 dollars a ticket basically for memorial.  and the game should be televised we just won't find out till the week of the game if it's ppv or cable.

I would also bet anyone on here $200 that if they wanted to venture to Lincoln, you could find tickets outside the stadium under face value easy, and even before kickoff. If you are willing to wait a few minutes after kickoff, for a team that is perceived by the fanbase to be one of the bottomfeeders of D1 football, I bet you could find yourself two tickets for ~$30.


Last year I took my girlfriend and I to the New Mexico State game and got us two tickets, row 16 in the south endzone (across from the monstrously huge videoscreen) for $40 total.


Edit: Oh, and that was 25 minutes before the Tunnel Walk started.

Not willing to bet, but agree…i used to live in Norman, OK and got OU tickets in the reserved seats under the shade for $10 each game i went to scalping…….

I am surprised that your fan base considers our Team  bottom feeder?  Wow…please send them our board linkage to read up a bit!  ;D

Being a unknown as we are (at least to fans of BCS teams) this attitude by the majority of the Fan base wouldnt surprise me. They are looking to kill us simply because they dont know a whole lot about us. And as usual there is a mixup of us and FIU from a few as well on their board.

Just part of being a non-bcs league team. Doesnt bother me at all anymore. The owls will have to do it on the field to make our name known.

I have to agree with owlfamily.  People won't really see FAU as anything besides a "d-1 bottomfeeder" until we prove it, and honestly we haven't yet.  We have to take down a few good BCS teams before people are going to see as an actual threat.

it's true, you're program is what…8 years old?  and until you beat a bcs team your a nobody, all they see is that you just moved up…3 years ago?  and…it will be a butchering…it may be close for a half but you don't have the depth that nebraska has…most new dIa teams will struggle against decent bcs confrence teams just do to the ability to stockpile talent.

Admitting the obvious defeat that awaits us, let's just move past the NU game and talk about our SBC Schedule…

And more friendly conversation about playing the rest of the "bottom feeders"…and possibly something we can hang our hats on accomplishing this season?

But i beg to differ…….

For the first time in years (last being HI), believe we make it a close game against a BCS program…not saying we will win, but it won't be a butchering IMO…

Well I wasn't necessarily implying that it would be a "butchering loss".  I think that we will be able to hold our own against Nebraska for awhile, but as someone else already said they just have to much depth.  I really hope I'm wrong though for the best though!  A win against Nebraska or South Carolina would be great for this program.  ;D

erm…hawi'i isn't a bcs team…
