Coach may or may not know what day of the week it is, so I can't put too much into those comments

The defensive scheme doesn't mean a damn thing if two things don't change.

  • [li]bigger/strong defensive linemen that can penetrate and disrupt[/li]
    [li]DB's not playing 10 yards off the line and/or jamming the receiver[/li]

DB's playing 10 yds off with no pressure from the DL means pitch & catch all day long.
