Great to hear that Allen and Dewitt will remain with FAU. I hope there are more than just two. Coach Watson is a big reason the defense is so strong against the pass. 

A big congrats to Jared Allen on being able to stay with the program! He's like our Rudy.

I know you meant Charlie Partridge and not Carl Pelini but I can't help think of Pelini when I read CP.

I do like owlfamily's HWSNBN (He Who Shall Not Be Named) idea so I'm going to run with that :D

Whom was our DB coach last year, he did an incredible job with all of the injuries to the defensive backfield, losing both Reaser and Strickland from thier starters roles early in the year yet getting even stronger back there as the year progressed! He deseves to be retained as well.

Yeah I had to do that cause I thought the same as you that he was refering to HWSNBN. So going forward all refrences to CP shall mean Partridge and if someone wants to mention HWSNBN use that.

Roles to be determined on what positions Dewitt and Allen will hold according to Deiter. I havent heard any word on the administrative end.

Honestly, I kinda felt like, in regards to staff retention, the magic number would be 2. I would be surprised if anyone else is kept. Kinda have low expectations for Wright's interview tomorrow. Still hoping for the best though..

What I am most excited about is the potential of what appeared to be a dismal recruiting class.. this could actually be very good.

Everyone is pumped Allen is back but what has he done I mean look at our Palm Beach recruiting it is nothing
To gawk at.
I think it is good
For the program that we keep a familiar face but it is not like he has been assistant of the year.

I imagine that his hands were tied a bit by the fact that high school coaches in the area didn't know/like the head coach.  I believe that Allen himself is well liked by just about everyone though.
