The odds are none of us make that type of money. His package is worth $2.5 mill over 5 years so most likely his base will be less with incentives. "If" he's able to fill the stands the university will profit from their investment.

Remember, It takes money to make money!

Ok, you go first, and you need a scanned 2010 W-2 as well or 1st page of your 1040 for proof.

There are 120 head DI coaches in the world.  I think a high wage fits.

There are cops and fire fighters in Boca that make $100,000 and they are paid by the CITY.  There are a lot of people in Boca that make a lot more money than the new coach.  In fact there are people that make enough money to pay his salary.  You just dont realize it because their salaries are not public knowledge.

Base Pay:

Four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000.00). Coach will be entitled to a five percent (5%) increase in his annual base salary on January 15, 2013, and on each January 15 thereafter for the term of this Agreement.


Incentives:

1. Winning the Conference Championship and receiving a BCS bowl game invitation: $50,000.00
2. Winning the Conference Championship and receiving a non-BCS bowl game invitation: $20,000.00
3. Receiving an at-large bowl game invitation: $10,000.00
4. Earning a Top 10 final college coaches’ poll national ranking $25,000.00
5. Winning the National Coach of the Year Award: $25,000.00
6. Winning the Conference Coach of the Year: $ 7,500.00
7. Receiving a top 10% NCAA APR recognition: $10,000.00
8. Receiving a top 25% NCAA APR recognition: $ 7,500.00

Termination clause:

(i) $600,000.00, if terminated during the first year of the Agreement
(ii) $500,000.00, if terminated during the second year of the Agreement
(iii) $400,000.00, if terminated during the third year of the Agreement
(iv) $300,000.00, if terminated during the fourth year of the Agreement
(v) $200,000.00 if terminated during the last year of the Agreement
