I voted for #4 but I really like the grey one. I think that should be our alternate helmet.

Good question. I'd also like to know this (for sure). I believe they said, "this will be the helmet going forward."

Sorry, I tried to keep an open mind….but none of those helmets are good looking.  Really wish they'd re consider ditching the winged helmet…

I agree, not a distinctive enough look to look good on tv and especially from the stands - and NO idea of school identity (ie NAME) for opposing fans to recognize. We ARE NOT a nationally recognized program or school! For an OCCASIONAL use helmet maybe but not full time. We are just beginning to become known so now we change our look for WHAT REASON? It is like starting over a sqaure one again to me. Oh, and they don't look that great anyhow!

#4 without a doubt. Love how it incorporates the old blue and gray colors that FAU always had until someone decided red was a good idea.

I like the Owl Head too and think we should rally everything at FAU around that logo but apparently (and I didn't know this) the winged owl is specific for Athletics and the Owl head itself is just a general school spirit thing.

but
I think the Owl Head had much, much more potential to become a recognizable symbol for the university which, at the end of the day, is what you really want.

I feel like both Rice and Temple use a winged owl logo. We should be unique and stick with the owl head logo

BGSU are the Falcons not Owls and I believe they just use the Falcon head as their logo
