If Morris plays like he practices he is really going to help this offense. He will force the defense to respect the run and that will open up the passing game for Rusty. I expect Rusty to benefit big time from the addition of Morris to the FAU backfield.
GO OWLS!!!
Here's the thing though… Is Morris doing great in practice and getting big runs because he's that good? or…. because our defense is that bad? I like to be optimistic but who's to say Nebraska's RB can't do the same thing Morris is doing
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Exactly. That is why I say if he plays like he practices. You are right, his practice success could very well be due to poor defense, but he has looked far better than any of our other backs so it indicates to me that he does have some talent.

Right. The kicker is, there's no way for us to know until they play another defense.
And you know Nebraska is going to line up that 300-lb Suh guy for running plays through us.

If we can sub at the time it is obvious they will do that, we should put Karl Spitale on the strong side end…the guys runs a 5.3 forty…which is rediculous for someone his size…
Not to mention he could tackle the guy by himself easily at 6-8, 340…….

Should we be surprised with our Defense might be struggling at times when they have to face a seasoned offense that is stacked with weapons and could create havoc and give many opposing defenses troubles, unless you play a team like USC that have a dominating D's - which would give any teams offense a bad case of heartburn's.
This could be a very good thing for the young Owl defensive players having to face that type of offensive scheme on a daily basis.
Good offenses can make good D's look bad at times - the opposite can also be said.

Just so we are all on the same page–I am talking about her shirt!
I understood exactly what you were saying…its funny, I am not sure what the problem would be?

The reality is that we might have to get used to the fact that were going to be in plenty of shootouts this year….

Probably right, I am hoping the defense will improve enough with every game and be a much better group mid-way thru the season - Not having to rely on the offense as much.
