As football season arrives at FAU with our first home game this Thursday, we wanted to notify you of our efforts to improve our customer service to our most important constituents - our students. Therefore, this year we wanted to provide you with actual tickets in your hands that you could have that would serve as a reminder of when our games are scheduled. Simply bring the tickets along with your student ID to receive admission to the games. Certainly, if you forget your ticket, you can still get into the game with your student ID. We just want to encourage you to come to the game and support your fellow students on the football, cheer, and dance teams and in the marching band.

Since the sending of actual tickets is a new program that we have instituted, we have run into a few glitches with respect to the mailing of the tickets directly to each student. Tickets are being mailed to the address you have on file with the registrar. Therefore, if your tickets get delayed and do not show up for the first game, please know that you can still be admitted into the game with just your student ID. Your tickets will eventually arrive and we will iron out some of the problems with this new program in the future.

Nevertheless, I look forward to seeing you out at our first game, this Thursday, October 12 at 7 pm at Lockhart Stadium located just west of I95 on Commercial Blvd. in Broward County.
