Former Coral Springs quarterback Evan Lassister has joined the FAU football team as a walk-on. Lassister spent this past season at the Atlanta Sports Academy, which is essentially a prep school.

The 6-foot-5 225-pound Lassister held an offer from Bryant University coming out of Coral Springs High School.

His addition to the roster comes following the move of Melvin German from quarterback to wide receiver. Lassister appears to be set to run the scout team this season.
