Wouldn't want the 1 year old to forget this one.   ::)
I hate to be the barer of bad news, but children do not remember anything prior to 3 years of age  :-\

not completely true guys…i have a few…and i was only 1-3…now, most are not good memories (accidents, nearly drowning)…but they are there nonelthess…

i also have one from 3 years old that was pleasant:

trying to make a wed wagon "fly" with a posickle stick taped to a can opener…….although i have NO IDEA why that stuck to mind this long…

ahh, the joys of youth… :)

but i do agree that the odds of remembering it are not good…….

I actually almost drown as well when I was under 3. Although, I think I have memories of it, you really do not. Your mind will form these memories (mostly from being told) and you will think they are real. THEY ARE NOT. With that said…What was the question about LOCK-FART?

Actually, they could be. In psychology we call these S.E.E's, or Significant Emotional Events. Near-drowning, car accidents, everybody in class laughing at you, being terrified on your first rollercoaster ride, your parents getting into a fistfight… these may lodge into your memory although the insignificant details – like the light blue coat your mom used to put on you when you were two – may not.

Re: Question about Lockhart Stadium...

I've been watching the USF game and I have a feeling that next weeks game is going to be packed. They sold out Raymond James tonight and I know we're not WV but I think it will be a sellout game. I was just wondering if they should have used Dolphin Stadium. USF seems to have picked up a lot of steam in fan support.

The chance of Lockhart selling out is gonna be based on if they win tonight , it's looking good for them so far though. I think they if they win this week they could bring 10,000 over for the game.

Re: Question about Lockhart Stadium...

This will make for an interesting day at Lockhart because now, FAU fans will be in the minority and lockhart will be close to a sell-out, at least have a chance to be one by game time.

Tickets could become in demand for the first time in Owl History.

It will look bad for FAU if USF out numbers us, but lets look at the reality of the situation, USF in the last few years have been building A LOT of momentum, especially this year with some great Wins along the way to next weeks game.  So, yes it will look bad on the surface, but in reality it will prove to be a blessing in disguise - a possible sell-out, a highly ranked teams at HOME, good publicity, locally & nationally, should be a great time atmosphere, students should be well represented, the game will be on TV, …..  Remember the crazyness of the Colgate game, this has the chance to be even greter then that, because of the Bulls.

We have a very HOT team coming into our house - great stuff.  We are still building our fan base and this will provide yet another chance to help build some momentum for ourselves.

Re: Question about Lockhart Stadium...

USF made a lot of new fans last night. It's obvious there are plenty of people in Tampa that love football because a whole bunch of new people showed up last night to watch them play. They are riding so high right now, I don't doubt every die hard USF fan will be in Lauderdale next week.

Now lets hope they overlook us…

Re: Question about Lockhart Stadium...

if we somehow manage to upset or at least give UK a scare the USF game could be the most anticipated/craziest FAU home game to date

I'm not sure it's so much about loving football (although I'm willing to admit that it could be) as it was just the big event of the night there and everybody was going. For instance, I know several people who went to the FAU/Minnesota game and loved it and previously had no interest whatsoever in football, let alone college football.
