Thats why being DRAFTED IMHO counts for more, even if its the last round. They are obligated to pay you and you can earn your shot since they generally keep you around if they are paying you.

This is some very bad news.  It was a shame the Raiders didn't even give him a chance to show his Hitting skills during practice.  Don't know why College and NFL focus so much on Speed.  I remember a Zach Thomas wasn't the fasted but knew how to hit.  Hopefully another team will invite him for the  Practice Squad.

The sad part, Frantz worked very hard and did everything he could to put himself in position to get drafted, when that didn't happen he continued to work hard asd a UFA.

I know he had a slow start as an Owl, but once he caught on the schemes he became an instant play maker.

Maybe he can find something north of the border.

He should go play for my Detroit Lions, he could probably start at QB for that team.

Been a Lions fan since Mel Gray was returning kicks and Bennie Blades was laying licks.  I wish I could cheer for another team but my loyalty is with them.  Hopefully we will have a great season this year and steal 2-3 games.
