Actually, they have a 2 page thread about this thread mostly bashing FAU on their board.  But I do agree with you, we need to worry about our own team.

It's funny that you criticise UCF for making fun of FAU but it was one of your regular posters who started this whole thing.  You see, UCF does not really care about FAU.  You are not a rival of ours.  We only played you once.  We play in different conferences.  Why do you have posters on here that just hate UCF.  You have one guy whose signature line says "I hate UCF."

Did I criticize UCF in any way?  I thought I was just pointing out the fact that there is a thread on the UCF message board.  I read the thread on your board and didn't bother to post in response.  Obviously you and other UCF fans care at least a little bit about FAU since you on here posting to defend UCF..and the opinion of a single person here sparked a 2 page thread on your site trashing us, when the majority of this thread was mainly very civil towards UCF.

BTW, I personally don't "hate" UCF.  I don't root for them, but other then when we recruit against you (or if we ever play eachother), I wish UCF well.

OK.. lets have a real talk about UCF. As an owl fan who lives in Orlando and has to be surrounded by this ucf crap.. let me give you my thoughts on UCF and I encourage everyone to expand on it.

1) UCF is not that good, even though they are ranked. Conference USA is overrated and so is UCF.

2) While we are having a down year, we have a better program. Once our offensive line is established and kooi gets rolling, we will be in a bowl game again very soon. Also, the fact that we have kept up without a stadium… only makes me think we will be at USF level in 3 years, while UCF still continues to struggle having a good year here and there.

3) While UCF is a bigger school… FAU per capita has way hotter chicks, is in a better location, and has way better uniforms.

4) UCF will not schedule us, because they know we will beat them and they will lose recruits.

Explain what this means?  I guess every board has their moron poster.

I think it's fairly clear what it means…He doesn't care for UCF.  He's entitled to his opinion.  The real question is why are you spending so much time being concerned about his opinion since you don't care about FAU?

All of this has 0 to do with USF.  This is strictly about UCF.

As usual… you're wrong.  ;D UCiF is under the delusion that they might get an invite to the BE… USF is already in the BE therefore is relevant to the conversation. That being said, you brought us up… not me. 4-0? Now sit down and shutup…

Also, I have family at FAU so I have a vested interest in the program and school. That plus I've followed FAU for a few years now and have season tickets to support the football program. Once their stadium is built, FAU will pass UCiF by in less than 5 years. It's a better run program with a better coach and better fans. The program has direction and a good foundation which is something UCiF doesn't.

Enjoy your mediocrity…  it's the one thing that UCiF fan is good at.

4-0 yes correct USFer but you were BCS and UCF not BCS and we almost beat you.  USF is irrelevant on your own campus let alone St Pete where I live.  In South Tampa I see more UCF fans then USF.  Congrats on being BCS…  Don't go spreading your stupidity to any more websites regardless of your vested interest, for the record I was at FAU for 3 semester b4 transferring to UCF.

UCF has a bigger fanbase while being nonBCS.  UCF has better facilities, while not having a pirate ship in our 'frying pan' , sad thing is as a USF fan you probably never even saw our stadium let alone watched a game there…  while I have been to your campus and the Bucs stadium.  UCF is in the suburbs while USF is on a old bombing range..  UCF has hotter women than USF which both UF and FSU fans will attest. UCF is ranked higher then USF by USNews.

Earlier I stated there is a difference between a football team and a program.  USF has the better team thanks to BCS yet UCF has the better program but congrats on that 4-0 record. By the way, UCF has more AP votes then the entire Big EAST but you can always enjoy your four games.

I dislike UCF and the majority of their fan base like most of us on here.  However, this thread is uncalled for.  Especially when you look at the type of success UCF has had this season.  I didn't believe in O'leary but he really pulled it together for the snobs in Orlando.  All you can really do is tip your hat to them and hope we can grow as a program.

Answer this for me.  Why do you dislike UCF so much.  We don't play each other.  Were not in the same conf.  We played once and we beat you.  What else is there.

Because UCF has always looked down on us.  You guys have had some pretty dismissive threads about us as a program and when it comes to academics.  You talk as if the tier school rating is the word of god instead of what it really is which is the opinion of a publication.  It's not so much the football aspect but the fact that you guys point you're noses up at us like you have UF type academic standards when we (USF, FAU, UCF, FIU) are all on a pretty close track.  It's not like you guys are light years ahead of us. In fact, from what I understand UCF was once considered a safety school with a huge commuter student body (something that we are currently in transition from).  But it's whatever I'm getting sick of this debate myself especially with the year on the gridiron our program has.  I won't go out of my way to root for you to do well or join the Big East but best of luck nonetheless.
