So at No. 81, FAU outranks seven of their 2010 opponents.

So based on Rivals pre-season rankings, we should go 7-5 (6-2). That sounds about right.

I would take that as a successful season with what we are up against. 8 - 4 would be a miracle.

With Texas, Michigan State and even throw USF in there all on the road….that would really be like going 8-1 considering the odds on winning any of the three mentioned (I imagine we will be double digit underdogs for all 3).  So I definetly agree with you on that.

I would think 7 wins would be a good season, anything more would make the season special.

That being said, that UAB game is a pretty important win.  What is crazy is that if you switched out Texas, Michigan State and USF for 3 teams in the MAC, Conf USA, WAC, etc…we could have a 9 or 10 win season and it wouldn't be a "miracle".  We went 5-3 last year in our conference and it was considered a horrible year.

Troy ranks at No. 74.

"BUZZ: Troy has won at least a portion of four consecutive Sun Belt Conference titles, but for the first time in that span, the Trojans look vulnerable. It's bad enough that 13 starters are gone. Thing is, most of the team's star power is gone, too."
