That was due to beer not failing to understand the course subject matter.  Its kind of hard to pass classes when you aren't even around during finals.

This was one rumor I hoped was wrong.....Oh well, not shocked though.

Results (grades) that came in last week dictated the result of his leaving.

So Carter is gone because of grades but so far no similar news on German, is that a good sign? I sure hope so!

Don't hold your breath on German. If he was going to play next season we wouldn't have gotten a Juco transfer. You heard it here first, German will never play a down for us and at this point I honestly don't think we even need him anymore. I'm sure the staff will add a HS QB before signing day. We already have Curtis and Bracewell on the roster.

There's no way German will want to sit behind Johnson, especially in his last year of eligibility and vice versa. I'm willing to bet they told Johnson he'll likely be the starting QB next season or else he would've likely signed somewhere else, somewhere that he knows he could play right away

Very well could be. But also just because we brought in another JUCO qb, that does not instantly make him better than German, the competition and depth it would provide would be terriffic for the team!

It doesn't make him better than German, but there's no way Johnson or German would stick around if they weren't starting QB. I  have a hard time believing Johnson would agree to sign unless he knew for sure he was going to be the QB. He's a junior, not an incoming freshman who has to compete with other QBs to try and win the job.

Not saying you're wrong, because we truly don't know what will happen and you could be 100% right. Just my opinion that German is done here
