looked around, and cant find ANYTHING on him….none of the scouting sites have any information…

I heard a rumor the other day from a fellow Alumnus that FAU plans to red shirt Van Camp next year and recruit a QB who would serve as a backup next year.  Then the following year Van Camp would play and the recruit would be red-shirted.

That way we have Van Camp for two years after Rusty.

Sounds brilliant to me!

So Rusty plays until 2009
VanCamp until 2011

Interesting idea but yeah, that definitely puts us in a weird position at backup QB

And I have to admit that I've never heard of either of these guys before now. Did we play them this year? Even against FIU?

i would r.s. vancamp in a heart beat......it seemed to work so far, and any back will do a better job than clayton did this year.....

I thought VanCamp was redshirted last year - he is a true sophmore ( academically speaking )
