Who cares what they think.  If not for a bad call by the refs on the punt we won the game, not to mention the two missed field goals.  He's an average passer and a good runner who doesn't make great decisions.

Word is floating around about Rusty going to a better school. There is rumor he has been talking to O'Leary. Rusty would fit in just fine at UCF and would play in a real college atmosphere. He would also get national exposure.UCF plays on ESPN several times a year. Those FAU fans who have never been to a real college football game should check out a UCF or USF game. I went to one FAU game and it felt like I was watching High school football. Schnellenburger may have been a good coach but his days of glory are over. Going to the trash bowl is nothing to be proud of. No one watches that game and it has one of the lowest pay-outs.

I think coach should print out all of the negative articles he could find and pin them up in the weight room. It would be one heck of a motivator for next season. Personally I love all the negative press because it only makes the wins that much sweeter.

Rusty is no doubt an amazing passer, he is sick to watch, when he lets go of the ball you are like no way and somehow he threads the needle and connects, absolutely amazing…

BUT, college football is changing, the days of big full backs up the gut for 3 yards over and over all day long, the 350 DB's and sadly the pocket passer are fading away. We will begin to see more all around athletes on both sides for the most part, RB and FB are quicker and stronger and leaner and can make cuts get into space, set up for the checkdown for a short pass when others are covered, DB's are in the 260-290 range and fast, pass rush or drop into coverage, and the QB of the future in my opinion is a dual QB, like a Tim Tebow, Patrick White, Vince Young, athletes, big strong and fast, they may not play qb on sunday, but will fit in somewhere, look at the schools that have done well over the past few years, all west coast spread offence, i feel LSU will blow OSU away, 2 totally different offences.. just my opinion for what its worth, i still love what Rusty does for us and am happy he will be here for 2 more years.

You guys do realize that the "UCF" fans are just USF fans posing as one of us to make us look bad, right?  I can't even count how many times some LOSER USF fan goes around to message boards acting like a UCF fan to talk some absolute garbage. It's pathetic, but the reality of USF fans.

UCF has 3-4 young QB's who are going to be very, very good.  And Kevin Smith just announced today that he is going to return next year, which needless to say will help out our QBs.

I've never heard one UCF fan mention Rusty Smith to UCF, therefore it's obvious it's some USF loser trying to stir up crap.  Hang around them enough and you'll realize it's the norm.

Actually we missed 3 field goals…not that I'm still bitter or anything, but could we recruit a new placekicker?
