That list is ridiculously off. Right now Tony Pike is thought to be a first day pick and Juice Williams looks like a free agent. That list means nothing.

You are using pre-injury and pre-season data.  Many factors have changed. Where he was ranked in August of '09 is not where he is ranked now.

Yeah, I understand all of that!  Only a couple of teams wanted to take a chance on Drew Brees after his injury.  You have to look at everything and Rusty has what it takes to be an NFL player–size, presence in the pocket, arm, makes good decisions, etc…..  We can argue this all day, however I guess we will see who is right around April 23rd!!

I think Harmon and Spitale are our best chances of having an owl drafted.

Rusty has enough smarts & a good enough arm to play at the next level…it will take a team to take a chance on him and will more then likely end up as a FA.  Not the easiest of roads, just ask Jared Allen how tough it is to break into the leagues as a UDFA.

Some scouts are high on him, you just never know (same could have been said about FJ last year).

We ALL want FAU to finally get a draft pick, and I think we are long overdue…But it will not be Rusty. If Frantz didn't get a late-round chance, there is no conceivable way that Rusty gets one either. Frantz was peaking in his performances and Rusty has been slidding. I think Harmon is a clear favorite, at least this year, to be FAU's first draft selection.
