So, I was 2-1 on those games and look like the Raiders still have some life in them after all  ;)

MTSU is playing pretty well right now.  They should have won last week against UVA at home.  They pounded FIU and beat a C-USA team, albeit a rather crappy one.  I'm hoping they have a shot at knocking off Troy later this year.

MTSU is playing pretty well right now.  They should have won last week against UVA at home.  They pounded FIU and beat a C-USA team, albeit a rather crappy one.  I'm hoping they have a shot at knocking off Troy later this year.

Freshman quarterback Dwight Dasher passed for 280 yards of offense and 1 touchdown while rushing for 180 yards of offense and 1 touchdown.  I think he will be the Sun Belt's Newcomer of the Year if there is such an award.  MT has made great strides defensively holding Memphis to season-low's in several categories including total offense, rushing offense, passing offense, points, 1st Downs, 3rd Down conversion percentage, and passing percentage for a starting quarterback.

I think we will make some noise in the final leg of this season and possibly do to Troy what they did to us last year.  That game is going to be televised on ESPN2.

FAUDieHard, are you the guy that called in to our postgame call-in show last year and called us overrated and a piece of crap football team after we beat your school?  I must say, that is also a first for me.  I've never known of an opposing teams' fan to call our postgame call-in show to tell us that we suck after we beat their team.  Now, thanks to one jerk Florida Atlantic University now has that ominous honor with respect to our school.  I wonder if that guy called in other postgame shows after other 'Belt teams beat the Owls around last season?
