Garbage.  Adding more weeknight games all to only be on lowly cbs sports against opponents no one nationally cares about.  No thanks.  I could see whoreing ourselves out for weeknight games on espn but c'mon cbs sports, really? Is it really worth lower attendance and lost opportunity of a Saturday local fan building game day experience.   Sigh

Yeah – was thinking about flying down from NY late Friday to go to the UCF game Sat. Probably won't now. Agree, to me the exposure on CBSSports doesn't seem to be worth it.

The thing isn't even available everywhere…not impressed by this whatsoever.

Hotwire doesn't have it, and on Comcast it is a SD channel with a subscription required.

You have to pay extra for it on directv as well. Super annoyed not worth the Friday night game

"National" tv exposure is good but my concern is that now gives us a VERY short week for that Thursday night at NT. We play prior Sat. vs. WKU (at home at least!). And DOES give 9 days to prep and rest for UNC-Charlotte at home to finish reg. season!

Now La. Tech just 6 days after we are at Marshall. But does give extra day to prep for beating up on the Kitties the following Sat. in "Miami" (more like the Everglades to me)! :Big-Grin:

Another thing that is unfortunate about the Friday night game is Miami is playing the same Friday Night on ESPN against Boston College so we definitely wont be getting that many viewers and attention.   But at least its better than Bein sports

These is a new video on CBS Sports pushing the chances of the Owls being the Group of 5 New Years Six rep;

Florida Atlantic Owls - NCAA College Football - CBSSports.com

This is on the team page and there is a video on the right hand side. ya have to put up with the commercial but it is good stuff! A TAD over optimistic IMHO though.

Could this be why we are getting more CBS Sports games - pushing the Lane train!!! We win those game and win or lose vs. OK and UCF, we ARE that National story again. Highlights and interviews all weekend, great stuff for the school and the program IF we win!!!!

I do think that depends on the teams records, especially ours. The Nation loves the Lane come back story after the crap he took from St. Nick. We are winning and entertaining, who knows who watches. How funny if WE (faU) out draw THE U!

But is it?

At least they were on local TV without a premium attached!

AND

CBS Sports Network can NOT be streamed per the conference agreement.

BeIN could…
