Getting into the Big East at this point is very unlikely.  Thing about Howard, he is always looking ahead, not the immediate future which is a good thing.  Thinking BIG is a good thing.  As long as you set the foundation right.  You have to be procreative.  Past actions have hurt us, one of the problems was Angelo's was the opposite of Howard.  He wanted to grow and move forward, but kept acting and making decisions that were counterproductive.

For FAU to even have a chance to get into the BE, USF would more then likely be part of an expansion to another conference … I just don't see three schools from the S. Florida market in the BE as it stands.

IMHO, FIU would do what ever it could to keep us from joining CUSA.  They've tried from the beginning to separate themselves from us, one reason they never felt we were rivals.
