Season Ticket Packets

Does anyone have any insight as to when season tickets/parking passes will be mailed?

Re: Season Ticket Packets

Might actually receive them before we leave to trave for the Oct. 15th game. That would be nice - that or we all end up picking them up in person at will call on game day. ;)

I'm sorry but there is no defending this… they had enough marketing materials to have these completed months ago. This is a historic day that has been in the cards for years. I am very disappointed and let down! Get it together!!!!!!!

Maybe looking for a sponsor… or waiting to see if we get stadium naming rights…. to place names on tickets…..

Again - in my opinion, there's no reason to have tickets four months, three months, two months ahead of time. As long as you have them the week of the game… that's all that matters.

Re: Season Ticket Packets

If I recall correctly you usually get season tickets about a month ahead of the first home game.

So if they are getting maile dout this week or so thats about right.

They are so late coming this year because we dont have a home came untill October. Usually you get your tickets in August because your first home game is in September.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

Still looking for a sponsor?  Im sure that has to do with it, but I feel thats a pretty week excuse.  Things should be ironed out at the start of the season.  You don't scramble for sponsorships last min, thats very unprofessional.

I'm not sure - but I was presenting a theory as to why. My thought process is always to trust what FAU is doing.

Re: Season Ticket Packets

I agree with Smitty.

Why in the world would we need tickets months in advance?  We can't use them until October 15.

Businesses could want to put their advertisements in the packets, not just on the tickets.  Some of those businesses may just be coming forth with decisions.

We need to change our mentality.  This is about making the most money possible.  Letting fans look at their tickets 2 months in advance does absolutely nothing to help any cause.

Re: Season Ticket Packets

I don't think there would be very much sponsor info on the tickets.  The sponsors they are looking for are for naming rights of the stadium, concession stands, ticket booths, locker rooms, lounges etc.

FAU can only go to the same well so many times for their sponsorships and right now, there is no brand to sell.  There is nothing that makes you think of adding value to your brand (the sponsor) when discussing FAU football, so many of those big dollar sponsorships will take awhile to come.  I don't believe we've ever been in a good position to ask for the money we are currently asking for.

Having this stadium now will help build a marketable brand if and ONLY IF the administration and athletic department get their acts together and really promote the team and make the right hire in the off season.

Regarding the tickets not being here, I could care less if they show up today, tomorrow or the first week of October.  What am I going to do, frame them and look at them in my office for almost two months?
