Season ticket price hike?
And I'm not just talking a couple of bucks either. My tickets on the 50-yard line were $13 per seat last season, and the new price you ask? $25!! This and they haven't even released an official - hell, any schedule.
Now I realize the jump to D-I with force the cost up, but doubling ticket prices? My same seat for the playoff game at Lockhart was only $20, and that was regulated by the NCAA.
How am I supposed to convince other people to buy tickets for next season when it's going to cost twice as much?

That is a lot. :o
That's the price of some successful teams who have a history of performing on the field or maintaining a strong attendance base.
We haven't accomplished either of those yet.
Hopefully they will offset that move by letting students and 1 or 2 guests into the games.
They just lost a LOT of fans.
Fundraising? Do we still have the group from 2001? They did an excellent job.
Why didn't FAU just let that guy keep his Corvette
I guess my Owl Club Booster Fees will be going up too.

Season ticket price hike?
$25 for a season ticket is a dang good price for a school with Division 1-A aspirations. Heck $25 per game is pretty good if there is at least four or five games at home on the season in which that could be why your ticket is so high.
I'm editing this post right now understanding that you must've been talking about individual game tickets in which that is seemingly high, but not if there is less than four games on the home slate. If you are playing only three home games this season that very well may be the reason.

I would think that there would have to be an increase in season ticket sales to warrant this, it's rather early to judge that right now. The old supply & demand rule always apply. We will see.
