This should be fun for the youngsters. But the pressure of being the 1st team to lose the Shula trophy will bring enough early mistakes. They'll settle down.

I'm a little nervous of the TE from FIU. The slant/skinny post pass has given us trouble this year. Padrick is one of the best at that pass if he utilizes it.
Clayton have to have a good game and move around in the pocket. If FIU bring #17 on blitzes we have to adjust or McKinson may see some early playing time.

I'll still say we pull it off with a decent run game to set up some play action passes.

How is Victor? Wasn't he out or injured awhile back? I will try to get over to see him after the game. I watched him all through high school.

I like FAU in this game. I think Clayton will have the offense rolling and the ground game will shine. I see some points on the board this week.

Clayton should be effective enough combined with a solid running game, would be great to get another solid preformance like Edgecomd & Pierre had against UNT, to make this game winnable.

For some reason FIU offense scares me a bit - they have the potential to put a lot of points on the board, quickly and sometimes our D has been a little suspect at times. This has the potential to be a blow out similar to the MTSU game :o

If the defense have a good game, create a few turnovers and FIU tend to do just that, then FAU will run away with this one. However, this is still a tough game to predict considering which team from FAU and for that matter FIU do decides to show.

Now, lets take into account - this is a rivalry game ( at least to the players ) the players should be pumped up for this one ad I think both teams will be ready for a hard hitting affair - turnovers will be key. I look for both team to play a very good game on both side of the ball.
FAU, however will prevail with the gamebeing decided in the last 2:00 minutes of the game - a possible field goal or could it be a defense plays that will put the game out of reach for FIU.

His absence should get FAU's defense off the field to avoid the long drives.
