UF has this thing in their student union that's like a big fold-out explaining their history… wish we had something like that in our Student Union

Well if it's any consolation, SI and Yahoo used the old TSU logo for us until the beginning of this year… so a 4 year turnaround is expected on these things, I guess. Heck, ESPN.com still has our abbreviation as TSU and now TROY like everywhere else.

The kicker is that Paco the Sports Anchor (I think it was Kevin Neghandi), who did those "Sportscenter Updates" called us Troy State at least three times during the bowl game.

On a side note, I kinda like that old FAU mascot/logo. I'd never seen it before. Nice color combination… would make for some reeeeally interesting football uniforms!

Why it's the Lockhart Owl, of course. Haven't you seen it at the games? It matches the stadium perfectly.
