I remember when just about everyone on this board thought Rusty was the worst QB ever. Then last year he all of a sudden blew up and everyone changed their tunes in a hurry.

Lets keep things in perspective. Van Camp still needs some more snaps and more time to improve and gain confidence.

Exactly. VanCamp has a better arm and more mobility when the pocket collapses. If he has time to refine his decisions – and wants it bad enough – he can be a terrific QB for this team.

He has show me that he can be a solid QB during Spring & Fall camps.  Sure, a little inexperience, and there is a big difference between practice & actual game speed, but the guy can play.

Look at the play calling when he's taking snaps, very conservative which doesn't help his cause either, & the fact that hes working with a OL line that is young and inexperience as well (not the 1st teamers).

Now this is true!!! We never game him a break for his "throwing from the hip" style… but here we are today!
