stopped by practice

So i stopped by practice this afternoon. They pretty much were just going through the motions, no contact. My only early observation is that the OL looks even smaller than last year. Scary. I watched a little of the offense running passing drills Mckinson and Clayton looked just ok throwing routes. Man Clayton is slow.

do you think no pads had something to do with that. Looking at the roster, these kids should be a bit larger.

actually the O-Line is bigger then before. with a few exceptions. for the most part a lot of the o-line gained weight for spring. wichner went up to 290, rizzo to about 280. the only people who got lighter were perkins, mcdonald, and miller. they were all well over 300 but now they are about that weight which is good. you cant be to heavy, then you cant move around. i think the o-line is ready for spring and cant wait to show what they got!

Welcome aboard Doctor - I agree, if we average 300lbs on the line we will more then OK, let's remember the type of offense we run, we need the linemen to be agile.

The first couple of days are without the pads & no contact -
