Stoshak

Post

Stoshak has shown poise and perseverance throughout his tenure at FAU. We all make mistakes and I think what's important is that he's recognized his and acknowledged accountability.

Btw..his one mistake didn't cost the game so I for one don't hold him responsible. There were plenty of mistakes made that cumulatively resulted in the loss.

I haven't seen anyone blame Stoshak for the loss.  Everyone agrees it was a mistake and an action that was out of character for what we know of him.  He faced the media with class while others may have hid in the locker room.  He will be better for it.

I think taunting should never be tolerated and a penalty should be called.  But to allow a referee the ability to take a score away on a level playing field for a rule that has nothing to do with competitive balance is a bad rule.  You want a severe penalty, eject the kid like the targeting penalty.

I'd like to thank Jensen for teaching me about a new rule, I'd never seen that called (have seen celebration penalties but not a td called back).

I'm filing this one into the Wussification of America category. If you don't want to be taunted, don't let someone break a big play on you and score!

Or better yet, grow up and don't taunt. Act like you have scored before!

you'll have to save that for when his brother picks off passes in the coming years
