Blue and Gold? What the hell?

Uhhhhh, we're blue and grey. Not gold. I think Bobbie Jo Billy Bob Jo Bob is correct. I was thinking of what I wish you would wear, and decided that I liked the idea of you wearing all blue, because then it would look like it was all Memphis fans. But if you wore red, then it would be obvious how badly our fans outnumbered you. So, I think if you where blue, but with a bit of red (i.e. a ball cap), then it would be too subtle for the TV viewer to pick up on, as quick as the crowd shots are by ESPN. They really are the best at not giving you a sense of crowd size when the crowd size is small. It probably won't matter much anyway because of that reason. I doubt the camera men/producers will show a wide shot of the crowd the whole game.

I don't even know where to begin. How do you send out an email (not that anyone gets them anyway) but how do you send out an email saying make Blue and Red louder then Blue and Gold. Note to Bobbie Jo….. We play Memphis on the 21st not UCLA.

Geosnooker, I'm sure that's how they spell it in Memphis but when you graduate from FAU you know that when talking about clothing it's spelled WEAR not WHERE. Last time I checked it was almost 2008, not 1908, a ball cap? It's called a hat

Ive been reading the message boards for a few months now and i decided that it was time to register. (after reading this thread, i had to say something).

I am a student at the Boca Campus and i've been involved with student government for some time.  Today when i am at school, i will do my best to find out what color the Game T-shirts are going to be.  This should be the color to wear considering they are going to be given out to all the students on the bus and the Prowlers and most likely the Alumni.  Ill post again later tonight, hopefully with some resolution.

The most important thing is to wear what'ver you have with a Fau/Owl logo on it.  But, from now on buy buy Navy Blue stuff.  We have to listen to what the Coach wants, he's the Authority here.  With out him we have nothing.  Last time I check we are also the home site, so our players will be sporting Navy Blue Uniforms.  Next time the school gives away stuff for football it should be Blue and Red for Basketball.  The Color for Football is Blue.

No, you're right. I made a "typo". As you can see by my 4th sentence, I know how to spell WEAR. If you want to WEAR a hat, go right ahead. I prefer to be precise, and wear a particular type of hat. It's called a BALL CAP. Not a cowboy hat, not a fedora, not a fruit basket.

I'm a prOWLer alum and I'm wearing RED. My dad is coming with me and he'll be wearing RED as well.

I understand this year, the Prowlers have thier red shirts and should wear them.

Going forward to next year, what colors would the prOWLers wear to the football games?

Its obvious that Howard and the administration (well maybe the admin, still in a quandry it would appear) want Blue to be our color.

I'm afraid its time to let the red issue go. Blue seems to be the choice and I think we should all make an effort NEXT football season to wear blue.

I talked to some people in the SG offices and they said the only reason why Howard wants blue is because of his days in louisville.  respect to coach but Memphis colors are blue and white, So we are all thinking to have red on also to go with the white shirts.  we dont want to look like memphis fans.
