The Shirts for the game are going to be white. while long sleeve bowl shirts with the logo on them.  . I talked to some people in the SG offices and they said the only reason why Howard wants blue is because of his days in louisville.  respect to coach but Memphis colors are blue and white, So we are all thinking to have red on also to go with the white shirts.  we dont want to look like memphis fans.

Memphis colors are acutally Blue and Gray from what Ive been reading.

Whats done is done and the White will work. This year is a wash on it. However as weve all said, it dont matter what you wear as long as your there.

Going forward, lets do what Coach wants NEXT year. FOOTBALL games should have Primarily BLUE colors represented. I say its the least we can do for Howard with all hes given us.

FAU fans need to stop "deferring" to the other team. We are Florida ATLANTIC, hence the blue. *Everything* on campus is blue - there is no red. Blue has a significant meaning, red is an accent color chosen by a design firm (it could have been green, purple, etc.). Before the Owls our teams (and even more recently, baseball) were called the Blue Wave.

I just can't imaging any other teams saying "we're playing FAU, let's choose a different color to wear".

Memphis will be blue, FAU will be blue, and everything will still be OK.

Exactly. I think that it people will know the difference in blues. We should be more specific next year and say that everything should be navy blue. I prefer navy over red anyway.  How about "Bury the Burrow in Blue"? I like the alliteration. I don't really agree with white, but a free shirt is a free shirt, so who cares.

Well if it looks like all Memphis fans, everyone at home is going to be like "man, that must suck for that many memphis fans to be there and still get killed by FAU"  :o

Its obvious that Howard and the administration (well maybe the admin, still in a quandry it would appear) want Blue to be our color.

I'm afraid its time to let the red issue go. Blue seems to be the choice and I think we should all make an effort NEXT football season to wear blue.

Not sure what color. I do know that some administrations like red and coach likes blue. I hate to say this, but colors and traditions are going to outlive coach at FAU.

I agree, prOWLers shouldn't dictate what everyone else wears just because they have a penchant for red. Besides, I think red looks weak unless it is on Nebraska or Ohio State.

all the signs in front of buildings… blue
the roof of oxley… blue
the poles of the traffic lights on FAU Blvd… blue
