3 personal foul plays on 3 plays..really?????

As the Wyoming player squeaked into the corner of the endzone for the final TD, most of the team piled in after him and danced around celebrating. A large group of Cowboys then ran to the back of the end zone near the fence separating the field from the raucous student section. They taunted the students in a manner not as bad as what ULM did two years ago, but still not in any manner of good  sportsmanship. Some of the students yelled back but I heard no profanities and saw nothing thrown.

No penalty was called! Now, please explain to me the simple matter of doing a dance in the endzone or diving into the endzone can generate a foul, but not the act of a large number of players taunting fans?

Thanks for that report. I didn't pick it up on the radio broadcast. Very strange no-call.

That non-call, which would have been imposed on the kickoff (right?) could have made a huge difference on our stalled drive with 3:00 left.

I'm not saying it was the reason that FAU lost, but the officiating the past 2 weeks has been horrendous.  Today was just ridiculous…they missed some obvious calls…they made calls that were simply wrong.  According to Rusty after the game, the Wyoming D-line were doing some illegal things to draw false starts(yelling the cadence or something) and they didn't call it.  Again, I never like using the refs as an excuse for a loss…and they most certainly were not why we lost today…but they have been terrible this season.

Add the ACC to the list....bad call just gave OU a Touchdown when at WORST it should have been 5 yds from where the ball was downed.
