Beat up on us?  Cool, man.  You do that whenever you can.  You haven't really done it yet like we have to you on two occasions.  I think whenever you win at least 20, you can consider it as "beating someone up."  FAU has yet to do that to us.

Explain to me again why the Big East would want a school called Florida Atlantic University over an established program such as Memphis, East Carolina, or someone from the MAC with some power?

I understand you're tired of RaiderInTheZone, but in all honesty you're coming off as a bigger poor sport than he is. Saying things like "Sorry Middle Tennessee you didn't make the cut" and "beating up on teams like Middle Tennessee". You claim you want Raider to leave your message board alone, but it's pretty obvious you are making statements deliberately to make him angry. If you really think FAU has a significantly chance of making it to the Big East than MT or most other Sun Belt teams, you're off your rocker. I'd say that there are definitely teams that have less of a chance to make the Big East than others e.g. FIU, stAte, UNT(geographic more than anything), but I definitely wouldn't say that anyone is a front runner at this point. You pick FAU and Troy, because what? They're leading the conference in football right now? We have FAU beat in every single athletic facility and once our baseball renovation is complete, we'll have Troy beat in every athletic facility, save for football, which we're pretty even in. By the time the Big East is ready to expand Western Kentucky has as good a chance as you do. At least they've won the Bubba's Cup, something that FAU has yet to do, which is just another feather in our cap as well as we've won it multiple times. I don't really see any Sun Belt team making it to the Big East anytime soon, but if it happens, there's no way you can say that FAU is the leader in the clubhouse so to speak. This honestly isn't meant to be a flame, I honestly don't know, does FAU have a Sun Belt conference championship in any sport? Did you win softball last year, I seem like maybe I remember that happening. Anyhow, congratulations again on beating us this year, I definitely thought we were coming out of that game with victory. RaiderInTheZone as well as myself and the rest of the Blue Raider faithful can speculate all we want about what might have happened had we played the game later in the season, but FAU beat MTSU in 2007 on the day the game was played. Now all we can do is take care of business the rest of the way, hope that FAU slips up somewhere down the road, and of course circle FAU on the schedule next year.

I'm not quite sure what the Bubba's cup is but no we do not have one of those. Remember MTSU has also been in the 'belt a little longer then FAU has. Now the whole shake up and big east dreams are all speculation at this point. No one ever said it is definitely happening or there's no way they'd take anyone other then FAU. FAU did win the Sunbelt in Softball last year, hopefully one of many for all our sports.

Again MTSU has been around a lot longer then FAU so I would think there facilities are better for the time being yes… It is something FAU is working on, as we just redid the gym and hopefully they can think about the baseball team next. Yes MTSU did whoop our ass 2x, the one last year stung too because we were hoping we would somehow, just maybe be able to play in the championship game.

This is why they play the games, this has become a good rivalry. Yes we beat you this year but like I said before you beat us last year and we can look forward to next year.

I think it is a little much though with RaiderInTheZone coming onto our board just to bash FAU. I don't go to your board so I don't know for sure but I would hope no FAU fan goes on to their board and bashes them. If he has something intelligent to say other then going tit for tat and trying to piss everyone off then he should post it. If fans want to make posts about FAU's possibility of moving to the big east, no offense to the MTSU fans, but it is our message board lol. Let us speculate it makes things interesting and fun to talk about. With that being said can we move on already. We've all said our peace let's move on

The Bubba's Cup is the all sport championship for the conference. The team that does the best all around in all sports. Since MTSU joined the Belt in 2001, MT and WKU are the only schools to have won it.

P.S.- Florida Atlantic has DOMINATED in women's swim and dive since we've joined the Belt, winning two conference championships.
