The only Sunbelt team to win this weekend was UL Lafayette against Northwestern State. That was their first win. FIU had a bye.

N Texas scored 2 points against Tulsa.

Troy will probably be a strong contender for the Sun belt champ. They lost to Missouri.

I think the SunBelt might be a toss-up now.

Troy is talented but trying to find itself (and hopefully a new OC).

North Texas is, well, I can't explain it. I expected much better.

La. Monroe has already lost to a I-AA team, and got blown out by Georgia.

Middle Tenn. showed no offense against North Texas. Did they even play Saturday?

Lafayette beat a I-AA team.

FAU can win the league if it stops the errors and can manage enough stamina to stay in the game with deams of more depth.

It's a mess.

Makes our game on Thursday even more important!!

In know any given Sunday (for the pros) but I think UNT can be beaten this year. It might be up to FAU, Troy or FIU (with their senior squad) to win the Sunbelt this year. I don't think UNT has their act together. Tulsa kept them to a saftey. That was all the scoring for UNT.

Remember, UNT does this every freaking year, then goes bowling.

I really wish it would win some OOC games and help drag our conference out of its perceived mediocrity.

Should FAU run the table in conference play, what will that say about the conference to all the pundits and experts out there? I think right now, since we are still so young and relatively unknown, that would reinforce the opinion of the SBC being only a mediocre conference.

I definitely think it will take more than NT to bring the SBC out of the cellar, more so it will be NT, Troy, FAU and FIU winning OOC games than anyone else.
