Souverain was heavily recruited to be just that a WR by the big boys because of his athlecism, but FAU was the only school willing to recruit him as a QB. He will have a tough decision to make in the off season whether he stays or goes - He would be doing himself a BIG disfavor if he leaves to play QB else where, he needs to stay and play a position more suited to his abilities. He is a great athlete with major potential, just image his quickness at wideout - no CB would be able to cover this guy. Big play potential writen all over this guy at WR everytime he would touch the ball - just the thought give me goose bumps.

I know McKinson is fast, but what is his 40 time? Does he have top flight receiver speed or is he just very fast for a QB? I really think he is best suited to play WR.

Clayton has been impressive and his decision to transfer from MSU says nothing about his ability. He was stuck behind some very good QBs at MSU. He didn't necessarily want to sit for the majority of his college career. Bottom line, he didn't leave MSU because of a lack of talent. The kid has legit talent. On top of that, he fits FAU's system as well as any QB that FAU has had. I think he will turn some heads next year. GO OWLS!!!

I don't know what McKinson's time was in the 40. They say he's the fastest. Last year Simeon ran a 4.48 but I don't know what he ran this year.

Clayton will do fine at QB. He'll have a huge advantage over Embick. A much improved and seasoned O-Line in front of him. Now if he's throwing to McKinson that would even be better.

Every QB that's approached don't want to change positions. In another post, I brought Omar Jacobs/Bowling Green up for a reason. Very few schools wanted to give him a shot at QB. FAU was highly recruiting him for QB. But 20/20 hindsight would have put him in the system with Jared Allen. Omar was leading his team in rushing at one point this season. That's not conducive to a pro-set offense. That's more of a spread offense which a lot of teams currently run. Don't know if he would have fit in at FAU either.

If McKinson leaves he can move down and play right away. There's lot of schools who will take this guy at QB in D1-AA. Then he can move back up in a year with a lot more experience at the position. Someone who runs the spread offense or West coast will certainly give him a shot at QB.

I hope he stays here and help out at WR.
