His name is actually pronounced AH-doo-WAY-go, and he wasn't going to be a starter.  He's the oldest of the unit by far, but he's been injured since the spring, and few expected him to compete for a starting job.  Hopefully he can get a medical redshirt for this season.

Sorry, but im out of fifties……. :)

Re: Texas injury

I'm not an expert on the Longhorns, but I expect them to blitz on regular basis early and see how our line hold up, especially with some starter out.

The Owls game plan will be to minimize it and take advantage of the blitz, last year we where able to take advantage with some big plays.  If we can do that against Texas, then we will be OK and will have to see what type of adjustment the Longhorn do, but I would expect for a balance attack from the Owls.

And what wrinkles Nord comes up with.  The guy can make a solid game plan with time on his side.

They're definitely going to blitz us as often as they can.

Rusty is going to get lots of pressure in the Texas game.

best way to slow down a rush is with screens and draws. Pierre and Edgecomb will need to hurt them when their number is called.
